GUIDE
The Hungarian National Gallery is the largest public museum documenting and presenting the process of the emergence and development of fine arts in Hungary. It has been an autonomous institution since 1957. It moved to its present home, the Royal Palace of Buda, in 1975.
The core of its collections is the Hungarian material of the New Hungarian Picture Gallery of the Museum of Fine Arts, as well as its modern sculptures, medals, prints and drawings.
